This section lists the most common abbreviations used in the Trip Planner. They fall into four categories: Street Types, Transit Facilities, Colleges, and Other Landmarks. You might see the first two types in your results, particularly in the names of bus stops. You can use the abbreviations listed for specific transit facilities, colleges, and other landmarks instead of typing out the full name or entering the address.
